It has been a long time
It has been a while since I updated. I purposely did not want to update as I had nothing positive to say......I did not want use a post to whine. I have a bad cold with violent coughing.........I seem to get this at least twice a year and I always have a tough time getting rid of it. I have a doctor's appt. tomorrow so maybe things will start looking up. I still have baby girl every day.......I actually got the cold from her to begin with. She and two of my grands had colds when I made the trek north a few weeks ago. All of them bounced right back......I did not.

Hubby is still going up north on the weekends to help Josh with the house. I am blessed he is helping but I would much rather have him home with me.........hopefully the house will be finished soon and he will be home.

On Thursday the 27th, baby girl will be 2 yr.old.
Then on Monday Oct. 1st, Addie Jane will be 2.
Hubby took me out to eat Fri. night. Actually we usually go to the diner for a fish sandwich but this week we went to Red Lobster. YUM! I had the endless shrimp. We had coupons so that was good. I am blessed that Will takes me as the only seafood he will eat is haddock. He had maple glazed chicken........he does like that despite not being a big chicken fan either.

I have not really been around to many of your sites lately......I haven't been on the computer much at all. Some I have visited but haven't commented. I will try to catch up. Promise

Have so missed being online and being able to catch up with you!
Red Lobster sounds wonderful! We usually go to Olive Garden for big celebrations. I miss the way Red Lobster used to be before they changed up and got into that smokey stuff. They have the best cheese biscuits though.
I, too, prefer my hubby is home with me when he has to leave. He's going to be starting a job several counties away and I dread it. He will either have to rent a motel room or drive back and forth and it is a long drive. I dread seeing how it will work out. I'm hoping he will actually stay there. I worry about him being on the road when he's tired!
Happy Birthday to baby girl and Addie Jane! They are so cute at that age! Hard to believe they're both 2!
Hope you get over your cold and cough soon.....but at least you were feeling well enough to go to Red Lobster!
You've been missed here!@SealedbyGrace - if it weren't for that smokey stuff (wood grilled chicken) I don't know what Will would eat. I love that the girls are only 3 days apart. I am with Neko every day so it doesn't hurt so much that I miss seeing Addie Jane as often as I would like.
@atticusfin - Are you ever too sick for Red Lobster ?
hope you feel better soon!--karen
@oldfatgramma - nope ~ never too sick for Red Lobster!
Try to rest and get over that cold quickly.
Hello OFG, I am so sorry about your horrible cough. I have had those a few times and it is just miserable.
I have not been around much either and probably won't be- just not enough hours in the day to do everything I want to
So sorry you are feeling bad when Will has to be away! Hope the dr. can give you something to make you feel better.
Happy Birthday to Baby Girl and Addie Jane. I love this age. Red Lobster is yummy!!! Glad you got to enjoy it!I've wondered why I hadn't seen you around. Boy, I hope you kick that sickness soon. I try to avoid the little ones if anyone has a cold, but I know that's harder for you to do. Your blessed that your hubby takes you for seafood. Mine won't even step foot into Red Lobster. If I want my beloved shrimp cocktail, I have to wait a loooong time to get it at a "normal" restaurant! ( 8 For your sake, I hope "the house" is finished soon so your hubby can spend weekends with YOU instead! I hope the kids are grateful for his help!
Red Lobster is amazingly good ! I LOVE LOVE LOVE their cheesy biscuits ! And it's real love if your hubby can only eat haddock when it comes to seafood, but he takes you to Red Lobster. You're so lucky! PS I get bronchitis or pneumonia or Strep Throat every year, sometimes two of the above at the same time so I feel your pain :( Sorry you have to go through that, too.
You've been busy!!
Here is praying that you'll feel better soon. You do get those things that seem to stick with you!
How's Uncle Roy?
Take lots of pictures of the children when you are able.
Stay safe. Praying for Wills' travel safety.
Love You!
I hope you get to feeling better soon. Yay for going to Red Lobster, Yum! Hope you have a great week!
