Monday musings
I had both kiddos today. Matt was good about going into the bedroom with a book for an hour while she slept. I think it went better when they still had the reading club at the library. He was always more eager working towards a goal.
Will had been raving about my DIL's zucchini bread that she made when he was up there last week. Yesterday he stopped at roadside stand and got some zucchini and when he left for work this morning he told Matt to keep me on track so I could make some zucchini bread. Normally, when I bake, Matt helps, he loves to cook and bake. Today he did not. I made 8 loaves of zucchini bread with no help.
Look who lost their 2 front teeth! He lost one on Sat. and one on Sun. His new teeth are already coming in!
Baby girl is really growing up! She doesn't look like a baby anymore.
Today, Matt was riding his bike up and down the driveway and she was running up and down the driveway while pushing her doll carriage. Then.... yes, you know it, despite all my warnings to slow down and be careful, she fell in the driveway. Skinned both her knees. She started crying and then yelled bad at the driveway and then she surprised us all by telling me that Matt did it. I said "Did you say Matt made you fall"? She sobbed, "Yes, Matt did it". Matt started screaming, "I am sorry you fell down but I had nothing to do with it". "Yes", she sobbed, "Matt did it". From there it became a screaming match, "I didn't do anything"............."Matt, did it". In the meantime, her scraped knees were bleeding down her legs. She caught the wheel of her doll stroller in a hole in the driveway, and she fell down. Matt was just riding up and down the driveway.

Oh well, tomorrow is another day. A new chance for us to begin again.

It was one of those days! Lol! I've heard children who always blame someone or something else for the times they get hurt. It's hard for me not to laugh and then they get madder yet! Have a great rest of the week! What cute children! Love the toothless grin.
All in a days work huh? Matt looks so sweet with those teeth gone lol, baby girl still looks like a baby to me, bless her heart!

You are the best Grandma I am still taking lessons. You have so much love and patience I will pray those sweet babies of yours grow just half as sweet as their grandma.
