More ramblings from an old fat gramma
Baby girl will be home all week as her mama is on vacation. Matt and I have had two good productive days so far this week. Tomorrow he is going to spend the day on the farm with his grandfather. I am no competition for a kubota tractor. His grandfather lets him drive it (he is in the cab too)
Matt loves it! We went to the library today and then on to Hobby Lobby. He informed that our craft supply was very low. We got a selection of things so we could make a few different crafts.
Matthew will be 7 on Friday. I can not believe that 7 yr. has gone by that fast. He is very excited. Susan is having a party for him with mostly family and some of his friends from school. They have had a cookout every year. She was going to have his party somewhere else this year and he said he would rather be home. He is happier being at home or here. Susan is taking him to the dog park in the morning as they are having a festival of dogs. There is nothing that boy likes better than dogs. He loves them, any kind.

The reading program through the library is going well. He gets a little prize every week for taking in a list of the books he reads. Today he chose a glow in the dark bracelet and then they gave him a pair of tickets to the Syracuse Chiefs ball game on 8/15. Papa took him to the game last year and he was excited to show Papa that he got tickets so they can go again this year.
I told you last time I posted that Matt tried a hamburger for the first time and loved it. He really likes bacon and has been asking me for a bacon burger (which to him is bacon and cream cheese on a mini bagel) for breakfast a few times a week. Well, yesterday I made him a real bacon burger for his lunch. Hamburger, provolone cheese and bacon on a kaiser roll. He took one bite and said "Oh, gramma, I think I'm in heaven"
. Ya gotta love that boy!

what a cool kid! Hope he has a wonderful birthday!!
Boys and their big toys, they do start young. My Xavier knows what every big construction machine is called. He's definitely going to move some dirt in his day.
Susan sounds like my daughter. She takes the kids to some great places.
I love hamburgers too!
Seven years. Yep, makes sense, we were here seven years on 7/22. Time flies, doesn't it?
Your grandson takes after me with that bacon cheese burger I would have said the same thing. Way to go Grandma!
Blessings, ChristieMmmm...I love hamburgers too. Little boys love those tractor, truck toys that make loud noises and run fast.
They grow up so fast. My oldest grandson is 13 and I just can't believe how fast that time flew.
God bless you with a wonderful week.
I remember taking my kids to the library for the reading program! How the time flies by...I miss those days!
