North country trek
We talked last night about maybe going up to Potsdam to see the girls. Will sent Josh a note to see if they we going to be home. Josh called at 8 this morning, waking me up, to say they would be home and that Lael was being baptized in the river today at Potsdam. In an hour, we were dressed, packed some stuff to bring up for lunch and we were on our way. We couldn't miss an opportunity to share this with Lael. After all how often can you watch your oldest granddaughter (11), have her water baptism in the river?

Got to see and spend some time with Lael, Alyssa and Addie Jane this afternoon. Lauren was at a birthday party for one of her friends. She did meet us at the park; so we were able to see all the girls, when Lael was baptized. Was so blessed to be able to pick up and go and share in this wonderful day and get to spend time with the other girls as well. Oh, it was a perfect day! Thank you, Lord

@mcbery - @lifeontheWink - @TrentTribe - @betheelou - @atticusfin - @GrannyFatandTattle - It was such a blessing and it brought back even more memories as Joshua (Lael's dad) was baptized in the river by the same pastor when he was her age!
