• Anniversary

     Yesterday was our 38th anniversary!  I told Will I was amazed at how fast the time seemed to pass.  He said it felt like we had been married forever.  hmmmmmm   He said he meant it in a good way!  OK, that is a little better at least 

     Yesterday afternoon, the florist brought me a flower arrangement with a card that read, "I love you more!".  He came home from work early and took me out to dinner.  Yes, he is definitely a keeper.  When we got home from dinner, he brought the headboard he made for our bed up from the cellar where he had been working on it.  I love it    I couldn't be happier.  You all know how much I love beadboard anyway!  I got a new quilt for the bed and was waiting for the new headboard before I put it on the bed.  Last week, Baby girl looked in the bag and rubbed it with her hand and said "OOOOOOh"  So I guess it is unanimous, it looks good!

  

     I went to the library on Wed. with Matthew after we picked up Ali from the groomers and had our lunch.   I decided to sign him up for the summer reading program.  You can read on your own and after you read 10 books, they give you a prize and a free kids meal at both Applebee's and Taco Bell!  I don't really see him eating at Taco Bell, but hey, my point is to have him read.  The librarian asked him what grade he was going into to and he said "2nd; I am, however, reading on a 3rd grade level"! 

     Love that the school supplies are out in Walmart already.  I like to buy the grands their school supplies and I love to replenish my supply I keep here for Matt and baby girl.
